Overview

As a Software Engineer and Design Intern at Skywalk, a startup specializing in silent speech technology, I played a key role in designing and developing their iOS application, seamlessly integrating this innovative technology with proprietary wireless earbuds. I designed and developed an accessible iOS app frontend with SwiftUI, enabling Bluetooth-powered silent speech dictation in alignment with WCAG 2.1 standards to support users with disabilities—contributing to the company’s successful $4.25M fundraising round.

Beyond development, I led user research and testing with 20+ participants across diverse groups, including individuals with accessibility needs. Insights from these sessions directly informed my high-fidelity Figma prototypes, driving iterative improvements and resulting in the release of a WCAG-compliant, Bluetooth-compatible iOS keyboard with dictation functionality.
